Tobey Stohr is the founder of JOYN, a Boston-based community built around yoga and wellness events throughout the city since 2023. Born in Switzerland and a wanderer at heart, Tobey discovered yoga eleven years ago and has spent his career creating spaces where people can step out of the noise and move with purpose. Known for seamless transitions, soul-stirring music, and a teaching style that keeps both mind and body deeply engaged, he teaches regularly at Boston Yoga Union, (the) MOVE and The Handle Bar. His classes center on the connection between mind, body, and breath — building an awareness that extends far beyond the mat and into everyday life. Outside the studio, you'll find him traveling the globe, training for marathons, or catching a movie opening night.

Over the past several years, yoga has been a grounding force in Anna's life, providing stability and community amid constant changes and travels. As a yoga teacher, Anna leans on the power of positivity and creativity to unite people, helping them connect with their inner-selves, their bodies, and those around them. She incorporates an energizing, playful mix of both Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, and loves finding ways to trickle in stress-reduction and relaxation techniques learned through her reiki training. Anna's classes leave you feeling joyful and connected. You can find Anna either at JOYN events, CorePower Fresh Pond, or somewhere hugging a tree around town.

As a Boston native, Leah has been searching for a local wellness community her whole life. Her yoga journey started during her study abroad experience in Australia, where she immediately fell in love with the practice after a blissful savasana nap. Leah’s biggest passion outside of yoga is traveling, and yoga has helped her feel at home, even in places oceans away. She completed her 200-hour training in 2023 and further studied Yin & Qi-Gong in Portugal in 2026, receiving a 75-hour Yin Certification. Practicing yoga has been the staple of her adult life, and teaching is the space where she feels most herself.

You can expect a blend of Vinyasa and Yin style flows with a focus on listening to your body in Leah’s class. By incorporating options, flowing movements, and humor, she strives to create a welcoming space for all. In a busy world, Leah hopes that the time we spend together can be time for your individual practice of self-care and self-study.

Leah specializes in teaching to folks of all abilities, previously working with Perkins School for the Blind, Communitas Program for Adults with Disabilities, and various senior living homes.
